You’ve Got Questions - We’ve Got Answers
WHAT IS RHOUSE?
RHouse was formed by a group of friends who have worked together since 2015, all living locally in Reading. We’re all passionate about what we do and seek to be the “Best in Reading” both in terms of the homes we provide and the way we run them.
We hand pick housemates to be part of our friendly, sociable and respectful community. It’s RHouse but we are very aware it’s your home.
I DON’T KNOW READING HOW DO I CHOOSE WHERE TO LIVE NORTH OR SOUTH?
We are all locals so pick up the phone and talk to Rebecca, she can advise you on where would be best to live depending on your place of work. We have houses in most of the top residential locations.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE RENT?
We try to make life as simple as possible. Your rent includes all bills, high speed broadband, a weekly cleaner for the communal areas (you have to clean your own room and en-suites!) and a gardener. There is a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer in every house.
We do not invite, accept, or negotiate offers above the advertised rent for each property.
WHAT FURNITURE IS IN
THE ROOM?
We provide a storage bed, mattress and mattress protector, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table or shelf unit. Most rooms also have a desk and chair.
DO YOU HAVE WIFI?
Of course! All our houses have high speed broadband because we know you can’t live without it!
DO YOU TAKE COUPLES, CAN I SHARE WITH A FRIEND?
We have a very limited number of rooms that are suitable for couples. It depends on the amenities we can provide in the kitchen and the size of the bedroom. Ask Rebecca and she will let you know the availability at any given time.

HOW DO I TAKE A ROOM?
We like to chat with and meet you before we can offer you a room because we try to fit like minded people together in a house. After a telephone interview we’ll arrange to meet you at the house to show you around to see if the room suits your needs and maybe to meet a couple of the housemates.
If we are all happy, we’ll ask you for a £100 holding deposit to secure the room and we’ll stop advertising it. This holding deposit is non–refundable if you decide not to take the room, otherwise it will form part of your deposit when you move in.
Because you can be sure of a great room and a beautiful home. You will also benefit from added extras that come with being an RHouse housemate which includes a 24/7 emergency repairs line and our own in-house Repairs Team to deal with any maintenance issues.

CAN I BRING A PET WITH ME?
